SEOUL WEEKEND UPDATE (Jan 29 - Feb 1)
Curated by GSTV – The plan before the plan.
Annyeong Seoul 👋
This is one of those weekends.
The kind where your calendar doesn’t make sense but your heart says yes anyway.
Morning runs with coffee in hand.
Fashion link ups and art openings.
Last call hip-hop nights you’ll talk about later.
Bass heavy rooms where phones disappear and time stretches.
The city is wide open now, so scroll, circle a few and leave room for chaos.
Seoul will handle the rest.

🖼️ ON GOING 🖼️
Dialogue in the Dark (Bukchon) ⬛️
Until Dec 31st | Buckhon | ₩33,000
A 100-minute sensory experience in complete darkness, guided, tactile, and surprisingly emotional. Great “do something different” date or friend mission. The concept sounds actually very dope!
Scatterplot: Kelly Belter (Jongno)
Until Jan 31 | Whimsical Farm | Free
Built from small, everyday observations, Scatterplot brings together intimate gel-pen drawings that quietly reward slow looking. Instead of a fixed story, the works invite you to notice how meaning forms between fragments, moments, and details. A calm, thoughtful exhibition that’s perfect if you want to step out of the noise and spend time with something subtle and personal.
EP:2, TALCHUM (Mapo)
Jan 22 – Feb 1 | Layer11 | Ticketed (KREAM)
A contemporary performance reinterpreting Bongsan Talchum, not as folklore, but as a sharp reflection of society and human emotion. Traditional movement meets modern direction, with live presence that feels raw, physical, and current. A strong pick if you’re curious about Korean culture beyond the surface level.
🤝 THURSDAY – ART AND FASHION MEET AFTERWORK…
Friends In Fashion Networking Party (Seongsu)
7PM – 11PM | UNDERCITY | ₩15,000
A fashion-people mixer that actually makes sense: designers, stylists, photographers, models, MUAs, manufacturers, all in one room. Come to trade contacts, find collaborators, and leave with at least one “let’s build” convo.
The Quiet Leaf Art Week Kickoff (Euljiro)
6PM – Late | Magpie Euljiro | Free (bar open)
Art reveal + bingo + DJ set while the bar’s running as usual. Easy pull-up energy for creatives, beer people, and casual link-ups.
주말전야 · ARZU Thursday Special (Cheongdam)
6PM – 3AM | ARZU | Reservation Required
One of Cheongdam’s last classic lounges still holding it down. Models, fashion people, artists, actors, and industry regulars crossing paths over drinks in a proper lounge setting. If you’re in the mood for conversations, connections, and a more grown late-night energy, this is your Thursday move.
________
🎵 FRIDAY – PRE-GAME ENERGY + LATE-NIGHT PICKS
PREGAME RAVE VOL.2 (Sinchon)
6PM – Late | Honeyclover | ₩5,000 (+1 drink)
Heavy bass warm-up before you hit the clubs. Cheap entry, multiple DJs, and you can still bounce early if you’re pacing yourself.
Dumb Seoul Listening Session #14: “겨울이 잠시 멈춘 밤” (Seongsu)
7:30PM – Late | Dumb Seoul | Free
Warm drinks + “slightly secret” music selections on one of the deepest nights of the year. More intimate hideout than party-party.
BRIDGE NIGHT (Hannam)
8PM – 2:30AM | JJ Mahoney’s (Grand Hyatt Seoul) | ₩30,000 (+1 drink)
A polished lounge night connecting people, music, and culture. Great if you want a social vibe without going fully underground.
Drunken Tiger’s last dance (Apgujeong)
9PM - 5AM | Drunken Tiger | Free Entry
One last ride. A staple for hip-hop and R&B heads, Drunken Tiger has been a home base for Korean-American singers, rappers, and late-night link-ups for years. This Friday marks the final chapter so come through to celebrate the memories, the music, and the community that made this place what it was.
RAPHOUSE AFTER PARTY (Hongdae)
10PM – Late | Henz Club | ₩20,000 (+1 drink)
Straight after the main event, RAPHOUSE goes late with DJs plus live sets from Daedongdangyeol, Noahjooda, and The Quiett. Bars, bass, no filler.
Hamdi (2-Nights Debut) Night 1 (Itaewon)
10PM – Late | Cakeshop | ₩30,000 Before Midnight / ₩35,000 After
Dubstep/UKG/grime heat with Hamdi landing for his first-ever 2-night run at Cakeshop. Night 1 leans proper bass pressure with a stacked local support lineup. Come early if you want room to breathe, come late if you want war.
Full Tech House @ FRAME SEOUL (Apgujeong)
11PM – 5AM | Frame Seoul | ₩30,000 (+1 drink)
Big-club, peak-hour type night with a hybrid live set from Matt Sassari and a lineup built for pace and polish. If you want clean production and a proper “main room” feel, this is that.
PLASTIC PEOPLE 2ND ANNIVERSARY (Itaewon)
11PM – Late | PAPER | ₩10,000 (+1 drink)
Two years deep and still locked in. Plastic People celebrates its anniversary with a full-on tech house night built for nonstop dancing. If you know this crew, you know the deal: sweaty floor, tight selections, and zero downtime. Pull up, disappear into the dark, and dance it out.

Scatterplot: Kelly Belter (Jongno)
1PM – 8PM | Whimsical Farm | Free (likely)
Last stretch of a low-key, thoughtful exhibition built around tiny observations and patterns. Perfect quiet daytime culture.
⬛️ SUNDAY - TECHNO PILGRIMAGE
Ben Klock (Berlin) takes over Undercity (Seongsu)
5:30PM – Late | UNDERCITY | ₩90,000 (Limited at door)
A rare Sunday night with Ben Klock, Berghain (legendary Berlin techno club) resident since 2005 and one of the architects of modern Berlin techno. Known for marathon journeys built on restraint, tension, and precision, this is not a party for distractions but a full, three-hour immersion into techno as culture, not trend. Phones down, lights off, focus locked.
THAT’S THE WRAP ⏰
Go do some networking. Go move your body. Go say goodbye to places that mattered. Go stand in a room where the music asks for your full attention. And if you end up somewhere unexpected, that’s usually where the memory lives.
As always, you’re not navigating this city alone.
We’re here, the community’s here, the exhibitions and dancefloors are waiting.
See you out there.
Same city, same energy.
