It’s getting a little cold in Seoul, but the city is still doing the absolute most. From house odysseys in Seongsu to heavy underground nights in Itaewon, there’s pretty much something for every version of you this week.

A retrospective celebrating the 20th anniversary of Seoul’s Cheonggyecheon restoration and the museum dedicated to its history. • Cakeshop Presents: DJ Chaotic Ugly [Machine Girl] (Itaewon)

  Breakcore, digital hardcore, and footwork from the future apocalypse: Machine Girl’s DJ alter ego Chaotic Ugly lands in Seoul. It’s gonna be a sweaty and distorted rave in Cakeshop’s basement with Seoul’s sharpest experimenters on support. If you want a “normal” night, this is not it.

  Miami’s own Carozilla lands in Seongsu with a genre-blending set: disco boogie, acid jazz, Latin rhythms, and house built for dancers. Small room, big groove, it’s ideal if you want something intimate but high-quality.

• LARA LAND – Christmas Warm-Up (Seongsu)

  A cozy December night of house, groove and warm club energy as the city heads toward Christmas. Local DJs GLARA, KINDA, Lucas, Haewon, Yebin, and Jinonplanet keep things bright and uplifting inside S-Factory. Great mid-size party energy without the full chaos of Itaewon.

• Black Pomade Rooftop Set at Casa Corona (Itaewon/Hannam)

• Eli & Fur — UNDERCITY Melodic Night (Seongsu)

  Eli & Fur make their long-awaited Korea debut with a 3-hour extended set of emotional, vocal-driven melodic house and techno. A cinematic atmosphere in one of Seoul’s most curated spaces. If you like Anjunadeep / melodic stuff, this is the move.

• TIXX x PGMNT: PGMNTIXX at Orgasm Valley (Apgujeong Rodeo)

  Heavy hip-hop energy meets bold visuals as TIXX and PGMNT take over Orgasm Valley. Expect bass-heavy sets, neon aesthetics, and a Hurra Tequila free-drink ticket for early birds via the TIXX app. A late-night option for those who like things loud, and rowdy.

• Seoul Independent Film Festival 2025 — Final Nights (Citywide)

  Seoul’s flagship indie film festival is wrapping its 51st edition, packed with boundary-pushing films and Q&As. The slogan “영화가 오려면 당신이 필요해” says it all: the films don’t exist without you in the seat. If you’ve been meaning to catch a screening, this is your last chance.
